IS THERE ANY WAY TO WRITE AN INMATE VIA EMAIL ONLINE? DO YOU ALL HAVE A SYSTEM LIKE THAT THERE? I KNOW SOME JAILS DO, SO I WAS JUST CURIOUS BECAUSE IT IS FASTER THAN WRITING A LETTER. THANKS FOR YOUR TIME.

You can't just call an inmate - you either have to go visit them or they have to call you. If you want to get the inmate to call you send a letter.

From the comments of the interviewer, it sounds like the guards like to get their kicks out of aggravating the inmates. That's not rehabilitating thats just creating a worse attitude when they do get out. We the society pays for that.

From the experience of people I know, the correctional officers are not to dissimilar from guards found in Stalags, Gulags, or other foreign jails. Considering the level of their education, the Sheriff's activist attitude...it is top-down driven. But, as all of us know, the world turns and things change...then the finger pointing will begin.

I agree - guards should help inmates not come back. What they do now isn't working.
